Artist in Residence, Caitlin Cherry: The Art Department and the UMCA, in tandem with the Kara Walker exhibition “Emancipating the Past: Kara Walker’s Tales of Slavery and Power” (February 1 - April 30, 2017), have invited emerging artist Caitlin Cherry to be an artist in residence at the Digital Print Center and Printmaking Studio. The artwork produced during Caitlin's UMass residency will be exhibited at the UMCA.
Stop by the Studio Arts Building printmaking studio (lower level room 10) to meet Caitlin and see her project in progress. Visitors and student volunteers are welcome. The residency ends Friday, January 20.
