Alumni Weekend: Old Chapel Tour
June 3, 2017
3:15 pm-4:30 pm
UMass Amherst Campus
Old Chapel at the University of Massachusetts is the most recognizable historic landmark on campus. Designed by notable architect Stephen C. Earle, and built in 1884 when UMass was known as the Massachusetts Agricultural College, the building initially served as a multi-purpose facility to accommodate lectures, religious services, a library, and reading room.
With the help of generous donors, the iconic structure has now been completely renovated. Come see for yourself and experience the recently opened Old Chapel.
