Conference and exhibition "The Artistic Woman: A Celebration of 19th Century Women Decorative Artists."
The Historical Society of Early American Decoration (HSEAD) specializes in the techniques of Early American Decoration including reverse glass painting, penwork, bronze powder stenciling, theorem painting, freehand bronze, Victorian flower painting, pontypool painting, country painting, clock dial and women's painted furniture.
The exhibition is open to the public April 12- 14: Friday 4 -10 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. - 10 p.m and Sunday 9 a.m - noon.
There will be:
-vendors in exhibition open to everyone
-demonstrations in exhibition ongoing Saturday only 9am-4pm.
-lectures Friday evening, Saturday morning, Sunday morning is limited to those with paid registration only. Anyone may register. Registration is available online at www.hsead.org.
The Campus Center is located in the middle of campus at 1 Campus Center Way. Parking is available in the Campus Center Garage.
