Every Tuesday from February 25 to April 22, the Catalan Studies program is featuring the 6th edition of the Catalan Film Festival at UMass, which this year is devoted to "Identities and Cinema".

Festival screenings are free and open to the public.
Original versions with English subtitles.
Some of the movies are rated R.
Pizza and sodas will be served for everyone attending.

Graduate students are in charge of film introductions and discussion moderation after the film.

53 dies d’hivern (Apr 22) will count with the presence of its director, Judith Colell, one of the most famous Catalan filmmakers, producer and one of the two Vicepresidents of the Spanish Academy of Cinema.

Apr 08: Una pistola en cada mano (2012, 91’), by Cesc Gay. Presented by Delia Martínez.

Apr 22: 53 dies d’hivern (2006, 91’), by Judith Colell. Presented by its director.
