Organized by UMass Saxophone Studio professors Jonathan Hulting-Cohen and Felipe Salles, the Festival features concerts and interactive clinics by Salles (jazz), Hulting-Cohen (classical), Claire Daly (jazz), and Connie Frigo (classical), plus the annual competitions for high school saxophone students. The day will feature a range of participatory events and equipment exhibitions that are sure to appeal to saxophone players of all levels and interests. College and graduate students have the opportunity to register for master classes and perform in the College Showcase, and Professor Hulting-Cohen will lead the always-popular Community Saxophone Ensemble, which gives sax players of all skill levels the chance to play with participants from all over New England.

7pm – Guest artist concert by Claire Daly, Connie Frigo, Bezanson Recital Hall (Free)
