American Culture & Language Program

$95.00 per semester

We accept payment through the UMass QuikPay system. Once you send the payment, you will receive an automated confirmation email. Be sure to bring your payment confirmation email with you to the first class you attend.

Classes meet face-to-face once a week on Thursday evenings from 6pm to 8pm.

Spring meeting dates (10 meetings total): Sept 19, 26, Oct 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, Nov 14, 21, Dec 5

All class meetings take place on the UMass Amherst campus. 

• All Levels should go to: Bartlett Room 119

• Classes are non-refundable.
• Classes are for adult language learners (18+).
• Ongoing registration is allowed throughout the semester.
• Anyone in the Pioneer Valley area who is an English as an additional language learner can enroll.
• Participants self-select which level they would like to take and can change levels once. See below for more on levels.*
• Participants cannot sit in on class without payment first. Please bring your payment confirmation to the first class you attend.
• Each class is team taught by two instructors who have been trained in the UMass Amherst TESOL Certificate program.

*Our intermediate group is for students who fall on the A2-B1 CEFR scale level, while our advanced group is for students that fall within the B2 CEFR scale.
