Title IX Training Materials
34 CFR Part 106.45(b)(10) Posting of Title IX Training Materials
The recently enacted Department of Education Title IX regulations, 34 CFR Part 106.45(b)(10), requires the university post to its website the most recently used trainings provided to those individuals who are subject to the regulation’s training requirements.
This page will be updated with the most recent trainings provided to the Title IX process individuals.
In 2021 the University of Massachusetts Amherst became a member institution of the State University of New York (SUNY) Student Conduct Institute. Member institutions utilize the SUNY Conduct Institute to provide their staff with training “on how to fairly and equitably investigate and adjudicate conduct violations and disclosures.” These training include “due process, trauma-informed investigations and adjudications, questioning and weighing of evidence, and other crucial best practices in the investigation and conduct process that comply with case law, Title IX, the Clery Act, and other relevant federal and state laws.”
The SUNY Conduct Institute provides a dedicated webpage to assist member institutions in complying with Section 106.45(b) of the 2020 Final Title IX Rules posting requirement.
