In addition to the workshops offered through WLD, EO can customize trainings to meet the needs of a specific area on campus and also provide one-on-one training by request. Harassment & Discrimination Prevention
This course covers University policies and procedures governing harassment and discrimination. Topics include defining and clarifying harassment, discrimination and retaliation, preventing and responding to harassment complaints, and addressing issues as an employee or supervisor. This workshop is helpful for new supervisors and any employees who have not yet attended.
Session For Managers and Supervisors: Responding to Sexual Harassment Complaints
This course will cover taking the appropriate steps to prevent sexual harassment and how to respond effectively to sexual harassment complaints.
New Employee Training on Harassment and Discrimination
This training consists of a thorough overview of the policies and procedures dealing with Sexual Harassment and Discrimination. We will also review what is sexual harassment, discrimination, what is a disability, what are the laws that are relevant to it, how to address it, and what are the responsibilities of employees and their supervisors as it pertains to addressing harassment and discrimination. This training will be conducted by EO Staff.

Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
This training is open to ALL UMass employees. The training focuses on important aspects of sexual harassment such as: what constitutes sexual harassment, the laws that protect against sexual harassment, an overview of the Sexual Harassment Policies and Procedures, who is affected by sexual harassment, what steps to take as an individual and as a supervisor to address sexual harassment.

That training, administered by Law Room, a nationally recognized vendor in Higher Education training, addresses prohibited gender discrimination including sexual harassment, sexual misconduct, sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.
