On April 23rd, our very own Design Building Manager and Shop Manager Evan Janes was honored as a recipient of the 2025 Chancellor’s Citation Award! This award is given to recognize staff members who consistently exhibit exceptional performance, contributing their time, skills, and innovative efforts to advance the university’s goals and objectives.
Evan was nominated by the Department of Architecture, with enthusiastic contributions from our colleagues in the Building and Construction Technology program, and the Department of Landscape Architecture & Regional Planning. An alum of the Architecture program (BFA Arch ‘14, MArch ‘17), he has worked in this position since 2019 and is known by faculty, staff, and students alike for his knowledge and skill, and his passion for any projects that come his way.
