About

My research interests are in seabird ecology and its ability to reflect changing dynamics within marine ecosystems. At UMass Amherst, my graduate thesis focuses on Common and Roseate Tern colonies in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts, their prey items, emergent prey species, and using trail cameras as an alternative method to monitor chick diets. This research will be shared with the Massachusetts Department of Fisheries and Wildlife, regional waterbird managers, and other marine system stakeholders.
