Heather’s research interests focus on the effects of climate change and human impact on insects specifically lepidoptera. she is studying the effects of climate change on the endemic White Mountain fritillary. Her research partners with New Hampshire Fish and Game which allows her to participate in translational ecology, citizen science, and science education. She is a fellow with the Northeast Climate Adaption Science Center and a research mentor with the Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program 2022.
