Emily Fusco
Postdoctoral Researcher
My research leverages big data to explore the interaction of wildfire with anthropogenic global change drivers at broad spatial scales while informing national and regional scale fire and invasive species management strategies.
When I am not at work, I am outside hiking and learning to identify new plants, herps, birds, and fungi.
Primary Interests
Invasion ecology, Fire, Stakeholder engagement, Conservation
Current Projects
Quantifying grass invasion and fire influence on ecosystem carbon storage. Engaging northeastern managers to help incorporate climate change into invasive species management.
