English and marketing double major Kate Devitt recently published an article inspired by taking an environmental humanities course with Malcolm Sen last semester. The article, “ Climate Anxiety: What It Is and How to Manage It,” can be read on UMass Amherst Her Campus.

Renaissance center books

Rare Book Library & Research Collections at the Kinney Center

In addition to housing over 25,000 books and monographs related to the English and Continental Renaissance, the Kinney Center for Interdisciplinary Renaissance Studies owns more than 900 rare books from the period, covering a range of fields including the History of the Book, Early Modern English Theater, English Literature, Humanism, Historical European Martial Arts, Biblical Texts, Botany and Gardening, Spanish Literature and Theater, and Art History.
