Stephen Clingman’s “Trump the Antisemantic and the Boundaries of Populism” has now been published as the lead chapter in Cultures of Populism: Institutions, Practices and Resistance, ed. Merle Williams, Routledge, 2022. Chapters in the book were originally published in special issues of Safundi: The Journal of South African and American Studies and English Studies in Africa, emerging from a conference in South Africa in July 2019.
