Stacie Klinowski, a MA/PhD student in the Composition and Rhetoric program, was awarded a W. E. B. Du Bois Graduate Fellowship for 2019-20 from the Du Bois Center here at UMass Amherst. Beginning this summer, Klinowski will be researching W. E. B. Du Bois' student papers from his years at Fisk and Harvard Universities. These papers are housed in the Special Collections and University Archives in Du Bois Library. 

Klinowski's research interests include writing center studies, disability studies, and rhetorics of student activism.
