Nathan Hill's, MFA '04, new novel, Wellness, was recently selected by Oprah Winfrey for her book club. Hill's novel is the 102nd book to be chosen for the book club, and Winfrey states that Wellness is a "modern take on love, marriage, and society’s obsession on improving almost every aspect of our lives - and the impact technology and social media has on our culture and in our lives." AP News describes Wellness as "a sweeping, 600-page narrative about an embattled married couple in Chicago."
Hill's first book, The Nix, was published in 2016.
