Martín Espada's poem "Alabanza: In Praise of Local 100" from his collection Alabanza: New and Selected Poems 1982-2002 was featured on NPR for the 25th anniversary of September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center. The poem is dedicated to the Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees International Union who worked in the World Trade Center's North Tower during the attack.
