Laura Furlan’s co-edited (with Lydia M. Heberling) special issue of Studies in American Indian Literatures, “Reimagining Native California with Deborah Miranda’s Bad Indians: A Tribal Memoir,” was just published. The issue contains Furlan’s article, “The Archives of Deborah Miranda’s Bad Indians.”
Furlan was also elected Vice President of the Association for the Study of American Indian Literatures. She will serve a two-year term before becoming President.
