John Yargo, a PhD candidate in Literature, has recently published a book review of Megan Heffernan's "Making the Miscellany: Poetry, Print, and the History of the Book in Early Modern England." The review appears in Modern Language Quarterly 83.1.
Yargo’s research specializes in early modern literature, the environmental humanities, and critical race studies. His dissertation, Saturnine Ecologies, explores how literary representations of ecological catastrophes drove the formation of identities such as race and sexuality in the Renaissance.
