Jeremy Levine, a PhD student in the Composition and Rhetoric program, has recently published a book chapter in Writing Spaces, an open-access textbook on writing for college. His chapter, titled, "What Are We Being Graded On?" explores the the limitations of grading writing, how students can critically interpret grading policies, and how they might themselves judge language harshly.
Levine studies the role of education policy and testing and its relationship with student writers’ long-term writing development.
