Florianne "Bo" Jimenez, PhD Candidate in the Composition and Rhetoric program, has recently been awarded a 2020 Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCCs) Scholars for the Dream Travel Award. This prestigious award "encourage(s) scholarship by historically underrepresented groups...persons whose presence and whose contributions are central to the full realization of our professional goals." 

Bo will be introduced at the CCCC Milwaukee Opening General Session on Thursday morning in March of 2020, with a reception in honor of all of the Scholars for the Dream winners on Thursday evening. Her name will be printed in the 2020 convention program in a special announcement of Scholars for the Dream recipients, and her session will be identified in the program as being presented by a Dream Scholar.
