Ashley Canter, a PhD student in the Composition and Rhetoric program, recently published a book review of Jessica Restaino's book Surrender: Feminist Rhetoric and Ethics in Love and Illness in Peitho, the peer-reviewed journal of the Coalition of Feminist Scholars in the History of Rhetoric and Composition (CFSHRC).

Along with her graduate studies, Canter is a Teaching Associate in the Writing Program. Her research focuses on transnational feminist rhetoric, transnational literacies, and affect studies.
