Gretchen Gerzina Lecture: “A New Look at Lucy Terry and Abijah Prince”

Gretchen H. Gerzina will be giving a talk on July 18, 7pm at Historic Deerfield. It is about Lucy Terry and Abijah Prince, the formerly enslaved couple in Deerfield that Professor Gerzina wrote about in her book Mr. and Mrs. Prince. This talk is part of a traveling art exhibition “Unnamed Figures, Black Presence and absence in the Early American North.” You will need to register for the talk (in person and virtual).
