About the Kinney Center

The Center cultivates original and timely research by gathering diverse scholarly communities at public conferences, workshops, lectures, classes, and performances.

Collections

In addition to housing over 25,000 books and monographs related to the English and Continental Renaissance, the Center owns over 900 rare books from the period, covering a range of fields including the History of the Book, Early Modern English Theater, English Literature, Humanism, Historical European Martial Arts, Biblical Texts, Botany and Gardening, Spanish Literature and Theater, and Art History.
