Satyaki Dutta

Satyaki is a PhD student in Literature and a Teaching Associate at the Writing Program. He earned his BA in English from the University of Calcutta and his MA in English from the English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad. Additionally, he holds an MA by Research in Human Sciences from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.

Satyaki is a recipient of the REAL Fellowship from the Office of Inclusion and Engagement at UMass Amherst, an award that highlights his commitment to fostering inclusivity and community engagement in academia.

His research broadly explores the environmental humanities and postcolonial studies, focusing on a materialist perspective of human-nature relationships in South Asian literary texts.
