Rob Murray is 5th year MA/PhD student in Composition & Rhetoric; he is one of the Assistant Directors of the UMass Writing Center and teaches Tutoring Writing: Theory & Practice. A former factory worker, his research looks to the rhetorics of social class and identity in the university that lead to the minoritization of and lack of support for many students from diverse backgrounds.
