Richie Wills, a Nigerian-born writer based in the U.S., is currently pursuing an MFA in Prose and a certificate in Film Studies at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Richie's work explores themes of identity, queerness, and culture. As a Point Foundation scholar, Richie is dedicated to fostering diverse voices in storytelling. He is also a graduate instructor at the University of Massachusetts as well as a teaching artist, with a focus in guiding and mentoring emerging writers. Currently, he is working on their first novel, with the goal of creating narratives that challenge and inspire readers. Outside of writing, Richie enjoys taking care of plants and connecting with nature.
