Michael is a second-year Ph.D. student in Composition and Rhetoric. He teaches three sections of ENGLWRIT112: College Writing. His research interests include sound studies and archival studies, as well as the history (and future) of rhetorical education. As a writer, he has been published in both "America" Magazine and the "Best of Journals in Rhetoric and Composition" book series. Before attending UMass, Michael received his B.A. and M.A. from Boston College.
