Maryam Amiri

Maryam (Marie) Amiri is a PhD candidate in Composition and Rhetoric and a Teaching Associate in the Writing Program. She earned a BA in English Language and Literature and an MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and has experience working as an English translator, content writer, and tutor. Her research interests include transnational literacy, language ideologies, and migration writing.

In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, painting flowers, and learning other languages.
