Larry Flynn writes character-driven fiction and deep-time poetry that interrogates how humans live in cooperation and cohabitation with their natural environments. At UMass, he is an MFA candidate, Graduate Assistant Director of Teacher Training, and teaches in the English Department and Writing Program. His writing has received support from Bread Loaf, Juniper Summer Writing Institute, Tin House, and an MS in journalism from Northwestern University. His work has been published in Michigan Quarterly Review, New Letters, West Branch, Terrain, Greensboro Review, among others.
