Katharine Cognard-Black

Katharine is an English PhD with a focus in Early Modern drama; she is also a director, dramaturg, and deviser with current research interests that sit at the intersection of editorial history, performance practice, and feminist criticism. She earned her B.A. from Bucknell University in English and Theatre, and she completed a Fulbright Fellowship in the United Kingdom where she received her M.A. in “Shakespeare and Creativity” at the University of Birmingham’s Shakespeare Institute.
