Jon Hoel is a PhD candidate in literature. His work focuses on American poetry and modernism from 1925 to 1945. His writing has appeared or is forthcoming with Black Lawrence Press, Denver Quarterly, Liverpool University Press, The Massachusetts Review, and Protean Magazine.
