Hiya Chowdhury

Hiya (she/her) is a first-year MFA candidate in prose from Delhi, India. She earned her Bachelors' degree in English and Creative Writing from Ashoka University, where she completed an English dissertation focussed on Partition narratives and queer theory. Her creative work has been published in Rust+Moth, LEON Literary Review, gulmohar quarterly, and elsewhere. Hiya is currently working on a collection of short fiction that explores intimacy in South Asian domestic spaces.
