Christina (she/her) is a third year MA/PhD student in literature on the Early Modern and Renaissance Studies track. Her research is primarily focused on mixed-race studies and how biracial characters and experiences are excluded from the Early Modern literary canon. She is also interested in queer theory, race-thinking and race-making, and Early Modern drama. In addition to her research, Christina also TA’s for the Shakespeare 221 lecture for undergraduate students, and she also teaches a First Year Seminar in the College of Humanities and Fine Arts, where students discuss queerness in one of Shakespeare’s most famous plays, “Twelfth Night”.
