This seminar will consist of five 10-minute talks by our own faculty members at the Riccio College of Engineering whose work is related to AI.
Isabel Scherl will talk about “Data-Driven Approaches for Modeling and Control of Unsteady Fluid Systems”, Saketh Sridhara about “ML-Driven Representations in Engineering Design Optimization, Peng Bai about “Machine Learning for Accelerated Discovery of Nanoporous Materials”, Hossein Pishro-Nik about “Connecting Drones, Graph Neural Networks, and Large Language Models”, and Ehsan Roohi about “Trustworthy Surrogates for Rarefied Flows: Physics-Constrained Neural Networks Applied to Low Speed and High Speed Flows”.
