Yu Chen

Dr. Chen has multidisciplinary biomedical engineering research programs focusing on the development of novel optical imaging methods for biomedical applications, including functional neuroimaging, early cancer detection, transplant organ evaluation, and tissue engineering. Optical imaging technologies developed in Dr. Chen's lab include optical coherence tomography (OCT), multi-photon microscopy (MPM), fluorescence molecular imaging (FMI), laminar optical tomography (LOT), and endoscopy.
