On Nov. 1st of 2018, we celebrated the official launch of the Center for Employment Equity with a packed room at the UMass-Amherst Campus Center. In addition to opening remarks from CEE Director Don Tomaskovic-Devey, the program included talks from Jenny Yang, past Chair of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Ellen Story, former state representative from Hampshire County and co-sponsor of Massachusetts Equal Pay Legislation, and Victoria Budson, the Executive Director of the Women and Public Policy Program at Harvard University, and Enobong (Anna) Branch, Associate Chancellor for Equity and Inclusion and Chief Diversity Officer at UMass Amherst.
