HEALTH EMERGENCY

MEDICAL EMERGENCY

  • Call 911 or UMPD (413-545-3111) for life-threatening emergencies. Be prepared to provide the following information:
    • Location, preferably address and/or building/street name
    • Nature of injury or illness
    • Victim's current status
  • Do not move the victim unless they are in immediate danger. 
  • Stay with the victim until the emergency personnel arrive.

University Health Services (UHS) is available for non life-threatening injuries/illnesses as they provide a wide range of health and prevention services, such as:

  • Illness protection
  • Sexual assault prevention and campus escorts
  • First aid kit information

MENTAL HEALTH EMERGENCY 

If you are someone you now if experiencing a mental health emergency, seek help immediately. Review UMatter Crisis Resources for information on emergency mental health resources available both on and off campus.
