Ngo Vinh Long

Ngo Vinh Long is Professor of Asian studies in the Department of History at the University of Maine. During the American War in Vietnam he was an antiwar activist from 1964-1975. He was a co-founder of the Committee of Concerned Asian Scholars and its Bulletin of Concerned Asian Scholars in 1968, renamed Critical Asian Studies (CAS) in 2000. He is also the author of Before the Revolution: The Vietnamese Peasants Under the French.
