Telegram from Patricia and Daniel Ellsberg to the Rocky Flats Truth Force, May 2, 1978

When I was going through an archival box of documents from the 1978 protests at Rocky Flats Plant, production site of nuclear bomb triggers, this short telegram stood out from the rest. The telegram was sent to Daniel Ellsberg from his wife Patricia and year-old son Michael. Ellsberg was living apart from Patricia and Michael during this time, as the plutonium radiation from the plant was considered unsafe for babies and nursing mothers. This telegram shows the connection between Ellsberg and his family, and the important work he was doing for the anti-nuclear weapons movement.
