Below are trainings specific to work with radioactive materials. It is not fully inclusive of all trainings required for lab personnel. For more information, refer to SciShield for Lab Management.
The following trainings can be completed on SciShield:
- Laser Safety Training is required for all users of class 3B and 4 lasers.
- Laser Cutter Safety Training is required for those who use laser cutters and fulfills the requirements for laser safety training for class 3B and 4 lasers for those individuals whose only use of lasers is limited to laser cutters.
- Radiation Safety Training is required for all radioactive isotope users and permits holders.
- X-Ray Safety Training is required for all users of x-ray generating equipment.
