Events & Food Safety

UMass Amherst campus hosts many events throughout the year - student organizations, schools/colleges, and many more departments have a full calendar of programming. All events held on campus must be approved in advanced to ensure effective facilities support and proper safety protocols. Environmental Health & Safety works closely with campus partners and event organizers to create safe, fun, and education events.

Food Events

Many events on campus include food, which must complete its own approval process to ensure events maintain food safety standards. These standards differ, depending on the type of food you are providing at the event.
