The Laboratory Health & Safety Manual/Chemical Hygiene Plan represents the institutional practices and procedures for the safe use and handing of hazardous materials. This document is based on the latest government regulatory requirements, guidelines, and current professional standards.
EHS has a template available for PIs and lab directors to use as a guide in the completion of a lab specific Chemical Hygiene Plan. A lab specific plan is used complement the university plan to account for specific lab items, such as standard operating procedures.
