Workplace Safety

Workplace safety encompasses all factors that impact UMass employee safety, including the prevention and reduction of workplace injuries. Workplace Safety Staff provide training, evaluations, consultations, incident investigations, policy and program development to create a safer working environment. In this section, UMass Employees can learn more about Ergonomics, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Shop Safety, and workplace related Accidents and Injuries.
