Ryan Wells

Ryan Wells is associate professor and program coordinator for the higher education concentration. He earned his PhD in higher education from the University of Iowa in 2008. Wells primarily investigates questions of college access, equity, and success for underrepresented and/or under-researched groups. Topics for recent research include the ways that socioeconomic status, disability, and geographic location are related to college success.

Elisabeth E. Bennett, Ph.D, is an adjunct lecturer for the Higher Education leadership Graduate Certificate program. Bennett is an assistant teaching professor with Northeastern's doctor of education program, where she teaches organizational leadership, adult learning, communication, organizational culture, and research courses. Her scholarship has focused on organizational culture and virtual human resource development, and increasingly informal learning.

Genia Bettencourt is a higher education doctoral candidate at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her research interests include the experiences of marginalized students within higher education in relation to social class, race, gender, and ability, college access, and student activism. Genia has a background in student affairs and social justice education, with work experience in residential life, student leadership, and pre-college programs.
