Hyun-Joo Jung joined REMP in the Fall of 2015 after earning her master's degree in the Quantitative Psychology program from Sungkyunkwan University in 2014. After her master's, Hyun-Joo worked for a university as an admissions officer for two years, where she served as a member of a task force team for developing scales and norms for measuring the competency of students in the university. While at UMass, she has been studying goodness-of-fit indices in SEM. Also, she investigated sex-invariance across items included in the MAPT and the relationship between the magnitudes of DIF and the weights of multi-dimensional scaling. Her research interests include large-scale assessment, item response theory, structural equation modeling and longitudinal methodology.
