After receiving a B.A., as well as obtaining licensure, in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education from Anna Maria College in Paxton, Massachusetts, Amanda spent 5 years working as the Testing and Evaluation Specialist for the Worcester Public School district. In the Fall of 2017, she enrolled in the REMP program at UMASS with the intent of impacting the way assessments are perceived and carried out by end users, but also to provide a stable life for her two children. Her current interests include multivariate generalizability theory, psychological assessment, and rating scale analysis. Amanda hopes to complete her degree in the spring of 2020 and use her acquired skills to give voice to marginalized populations, with special interest in postpartum depression.
