A round of applause for Dr. Torrey Trust, recipient of this year's College of Education’s Outstanding Teaching Award! This award honors faculty members who demonstrate excellence in teaching in many different aspects. Those who are chosen for this award have developed effective skills in managing the art and craft of teaching and have evidence of mastery of the subject matter in courses taught. Additional areas of evaluation include teaching effectiveness and creativity, the impact of the teacher on their students, subject mastery and scholarship, and contributions to the teaching mission.

In addition, Dr. Trust recently shared a Technologies for Resilient Teaching presentation over Twitter and has subsequently been viewed over 25,000 times by users from around the world. Way to go, Torrey!
