Generation Teach recruits high school and college students to become Teaching Fellows for Holyoke and Springfield middle school students. Generation Teach is aligned to the work schools are doing trying to diversify the teaching workforce, to encourage their high school students to try out teaching and have the best experience for their middle school students.

The Western MA Summer Teaching Fellowship includes two weeks of intensive training and five weeks of teaching small groups of middle-school students.
