Seminar: Examining the Conflux of Education, Health, and Art as a Means of Social Change and Community Dialogue

Join Sam Brakarsh as he shares the Chikukwa Library and Theater Project with us. The session will involve a presentation that emphasizes culturally-aware, bottom-up approaches to social and infrastructure development in the Chikukwa community in Zimbabwe as well as opportunities to explore wider project application.

Sam is from Zimbabwe and is currently studying at Yale University. At home, he is an actor on the national stage and a published creative writer. He is interested in education and health system reform in diverse cultural contexts, work that has garnered him recognition through the Davis-Mahindra Award and the African Leadership Medallion.
